My first review on Transformers toys. Since this is my first ever review, I thought that I would start small, literally small.

Today's review will be on Hun-Gurrr from the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters toyline. Hun-Gurrr is a Legion Class figure and it can combine with 4 other Predacons from the same toyline, Twinstrike, Windrazor, Blight and Rippersnapper to form Abominus.
I actually didn't know that there was a combiner named Abominus until I saw this toy on the Internet early last year. After searching online, I finally got more info on Abominus from the G1 series. Here he is, the combined form of the 5 Terrorcons, their leader Hun-Gurrr, Rippersnapper, Blot, Sinnertwin and Cutthroat.

Moving on, Transformers Prime Hun-Gurrr comes in the standard Legion Class box.

Now, on to the beast himself! I'll start with his beast mode.
Hun-Gurrr transforms into a bipedal two-headed dragon, a modern take on his original G1 beast mode(shown below).

Hun-Gurrr's dragon mode is quite nice and looks sleek when viewed from the side. However, when viewed from the front, he looks like he has this large butt and the proportions don't look nice...

Articulation is limited. His head and tail can move up and down, but it's there mainly for the transformation. His neck is also not articulated but I really like the curved neck the designers gave him. It really improves his poseability.

His legs are also solid pieces with no knee articulation. However, the feet can move up and down and his legs are connected to the hips with ball joints.

Moving on to his robot mode. In this mode, Hun-Gurrr shines. He has the build of a brawler or a wrestler. His bot mode looks clean with no kibble, except for the small part where his beast mode toes fold back on his arms( a little bit like the upcoming AOE Voyager and Leader Grimlock)

Next up, his combiner torso mode. Strangely, his instructions never even gave a hint that he's a combiner, so there were no instructions to transform him into the torso mode. I managed to get him in this mode after fiddling with him for a while and he looks great!

There is just one important step to transform him from his robot mode to his torso mode. Pull down his chest so that it looks like this.
And you can see the head of Abominus.
Rotate the head upwards and then move his chest back to his original position. Then its just a matter of positioning the limbs.

To conclude, Hun-Gurrr is really a fun figure to play with, despite his size. However, I honestly think that he is a little bit overpriced and I think that paying RM24.90 for him or any Legion Class toy is a bit expensive( RN 24.90 is the standard price for a Legion Class Figure nowadays). I got him and his team members on sale at RM12.90 each at Tesco. However, if you don't mind the current pricing, then you should really get this guy along with his team members(which I will be reviewing in the future).
